ToU
Terms of Use
These terms govern access to and use of the Studova service. By using the service, you accept these terms in full.
1Purpose
These Terms of Use (hereinafter the “ToU”) define the terms of access to and use of the Studova services, published and operated by Thunder Corp (hereinafter “Studova” or “the Publisher”), including the website www.studova.ai, the web app available at app.studova.ai as well as the mobile app (iOS and Android), and all associated features (flashcards, quizzes, summaries, podcasts and smart revision), hereinafter the “Service”. Any use of the Service implies full and unreserved acceptance of these ToU.
2Access to the service
The Service is accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Some features may require the creation of a user account. Use of the Service implies acceptance of these ToU. Studova strives to ensure the continuous availability of the Service, subject to maintenance operations, technical changes and cases of force majeure.
3User account
Creating an account requires providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity carried out from their account. In the event of unauthorized use of their account or any breach of the security of their credentials, the user undertakes to inform Studova without delay.
4Use of the service
The user undertakes to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and applicable regulations. The following are notably prohibited:
- any illegal or fraudulent use, or use contrary to public order;
- unauthorized access to the systems and accounts of other users;
- the collection or exploitation of other users' personal data;
- the publication of inappropriate, defamatory or infringing content;
- any action intended to disrupt the proper functioning of the Service.
5Intellectual property
All elements making up the Service (trademarks, logos, text, interfaces, code and databases) remain the exclusive property of Studova or its partners. Content created or imported by the user remains their property; the user grants Studova a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license, strictly necessary for the provision of the Service.
6Liability
Studova strives to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the Service, without being able to guarantee it permanently. The Service is provided “as is”. Studova cannot be held liable for indirect damages, nor for the user's academic results, as use of the Service is not a substitute for personal revision work.
7Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these ToU. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the user has rights of access, rectification, objection and erasure of their data.
8Changes to the Terms of Use
Studova reserves the right to modify these ToU at any time, in particular to adapt them to changes in the Service or in regulations. Users are informed of any substantial change. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new ToU.

ToS
Terms of Sale
These terms govern the subscription to paid Studova plans. Any order implies their unreserved acceptance.
1Purpose
These Terms of Sale (hereinafter the “ToS”) govern the sale of subscriptions to the Studova services, published and operated by Thunder Corp. Any subscription to a paid plan implies full and unreserved acceptance of these ToS.
2Offers and pricing
Studova offers a free plan as well as Premium subscriptions in two billing cycles: monthly and annual. Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. Studova reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the price applicable to an order is the one in effect on the day of subscription.
3Order and payment
Payment for subscriptions is made according to the platform used at the time of subscription:
- on the web (studova.ai and app.studova.ai), by credit card via our secure payment provider Stripe, certified PCI-DSS Level 1;
- on Android, via Google Play billing;
- on iOS, via in-app purchases on Apple's App Store.
When the subscription is taken out via an app store (Google Play or App Store), billing, renewal and any refunds are governed by the terms of the relevant platform. At no point does Studova have access to the user's full payment card details. The order is definitively confirmed once payment is confirmed.
4Subscription and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically upon expiry, for a period identical to the one initially subscribed (monthly or annual), unless cancelled by the user before the renewal date. The user can disable automatic renewal at any time from their account or, when the subscription was taken out via an app store, from their Google Play or App Store account settings.
5Cancellation
The user can cancel their subscription at any time from their account, free of charge and without justification. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: the subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid for, then ends without renewal.
6Right of withdrawal and refund
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer in principle has a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract, without having to give reasons for their decision.
However, pursuant to Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, this right cannot be exercised for contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun after the consumer's prior express consent and express waiver of their right of withdrawal. By subscribing to a plan and immediately accessing the Service, the user expressly requests the immediate performance of the Service and acknowledges that they expressly waive their right of withdrawal.
Consequently, no refund is due for subscription periods already started, including in the event of early cancellation. Subscriptions taken out via Google Play or Apple's App Store remain subject, for any refund request, to the terms of the relevant platform.
7Liability
Studova cannot be held liable in the event of a temporary interruption of the Service, for indirect damages, or with respect to the user's academic results. In any event, Studova's liability is limited to the amount of the subscription actually paid by the user.
8Disputes and mediation
These ToS are governed by French law, without prejudice to any more protective mandatory provisions applicable to the consumer in their country of habitual residence.
In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, a consumer user residing in France may use a consumer mediator free of charge with a view to the amicable resolution of any dispute. Consumers residing in the European Union may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute relating to these ToS will be brought before the competent courts, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in the user's country of residence.

For any question about these ToS, the user can contact Studova at contact@studova.ai.
